In a November 2023 Instagram post, following the viral hotel video of Combs assaulting Ventura, he wrote: “Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men. During Ventura’s time on the stand at Combs’ trial on May 14, Fine was present in the courtroom and was observed occasionally glancing toward Combs before turning his attention back to his wife, The New York Times reported.
The same day, Ventura recounted a 2023 mental health crisis on the stand, saying she told Fine he didn’t need her anymore and attempted to walk into traffic before he intervened and stopped her.
