Longtime Diddy accuser Aubrey O’Day will not testify against the hip-hop mogul during his federal sex trafficking trial, despite saying she previously spoke with Homeland Security.
Amid the first week of trial, the singer sparked speculation about a possible court appearance after sharing a cryptic Instagram post from New York City.
Us Weekly later reported O’Day had arrived in Manhattan after being subpoenaed to testify “sometime this week or next.” But a source told the Daily News on Saturday there’s no truth to that report.
“While she would gladly testify, she has not been asked,” the source said.
The 41-year-old former member of Danity Kane — a girl group formed in 2004 on Diddy’s reality show “Making the Band” — also addressed her rumored testimony on Friday’s premiere episode of the “Aubrey O’Day: Covering the Diddy Trial” podcast.
“I’m not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of,” O’Day told co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. “I was contacted by Homeland Security and I did have a meeting with Homeland Security.”
She did not divulge any details on the meeting.
O’Day said that while she is indeed in New York City, “I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and enjoying myself because I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying.”
O’Day has long spoken out on her negative experiences with Diddy, saying her ex-mentor exerted control over her appearance and made unwanted sexually charged comments toward her.
On a 2022 episode of “Call Her Daddy,” she claimed she was pressured by Diddy to do things that weren’t related to her career and that her refusal led to her infamously being fired from Danity Kane.
“I wasn’t willing to do what was expected of me, not talent-wise, but in other areas,” she said on the podcast.

She has further alleged that Diddy attempted to buy her silence by giving her back publishing rights to her music in a deal that included a non-disparagement clause. O’Day said she refused the offer, not wanting to sign away her ability to speak.
While O’Day is not set to testify in Diddy’s trial, her former bandmate Dawn Richard took the stand on Friday, testifying that she witnessed the rapper assault Cassie Ventura on multiple occasions.
The trial will continue on Monday and is expected to last several weeks.
