No Saturday Night Live stars have been confirmed to be leaving the show after its landmark 50th season. Still, fans have been scouring last night’s season finale for clues about who may be departing or sticking around. It felt like parts of TikTok were timing the length of Bowen Yang’s hugs, that’s how deep people are going. Michael Che said offhand during a standup set that he’s leaving the show, but according to Deadline he says that a lot. Still, this could be the last season finale joke swap between Che and “Update” co-anchor Colin Jost. And if it is, at least Jost didn’t get tricked into saying the n-word. Not that Che didn’t try his hardest to make it happen! Jost also got Che to apologize to Scarlett Johansson for the whole “your vagina looks like a Costco beef sandwich” thing from the joke swap last Christmas.
