Hargitay completed the look with long satin black gloves and dangling silver earrings, while her hair was styled in classic waves that fell down her back. For the special event, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress’ husband Peter Hermann and her three kids, August, Amaya and Andrew, were by her side to support her and celebrate the exciting moment.

All the men of the family looked dashing in tuxedos with bowties, while Amaya took notes from her mom’s sparkly look and wore a sweet black dress with sparkling embellishments all over.

It’s very rare for Hargitay’s kids to make public appearances, although they will occasionally accompany one or both of their parents to an event. Recently, Hargitay was spotted taking her older son, August, to a New York Knicks game.

The entire family was together to support Hargitay at the premiere of her new documentary, My Mom Jayne. The movie is Hargitay’s directorial debut, and it is an exploration of Hargitay’s mother, Mansfield, and her personal relationship with her. Mansfield died when Hargitay was only three years old.

The movie premiered at Cannes on May 17, and it’s set to get a limited theatrical release in June before premiering on HBO on June 27.
