HT: Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

St Mirren will be absolutely delighted with those first 45 minutes. They’ve contained Celtic without too much of a problem. Goalkeeper Zach Hemming hasn’t been overly troubled.
The same is true, of course, of his opposite number Kasper Schmeichel. I suspect, however, home boss Brendan Rodgers will be demanding significantly more from his men during the interval.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if he made a couple of early changes, with the likes of Hyun-Jun Yang, James Forrest and Luke McCowan all itching for the chance to impress ahead of next week’s Scottish Cup final.
Rodgers won’t want trophy day to fall flat. Visiting boss Stephen Robinson will have a simple message: more of the same, and it could be enough for fifth and a place in Europe.
